The blogs I link to in the "Food for thought" section on the sidebar are just that -- food for thought. I do not agree with everything posted there. Some of the material may be disturbing or contrary to Catholic teaching, mostly on sites like The Spearhead. Please do not take my linking as an endorsement; these are merely sources of information.
Why would I do this? For the same reason as a faithful Catholic that I'd read Marx, Freud, Nietzshe, etc.; it is important to understand opposing points of view in order to dissect and dismantle them. Also, most errors begin with an element of truth. It can be important to find that truth, even if it means sifting through the vile lies that surround it.
